The amount of oil burned every day in a Lanair Waste Oil Heater varies by model and thermostat settings, refer to your model’s specifications.

Average of 60% – 75% run time based on the thermostat setting and temperature in building when the unit is started.

Varies with how often the doors are open / shut and how well the building is insulated.

How much water can I burn?

Water / Antifreeze will not burn in a Lanair Waste Oil Heater.

Any Water / Antifreeze will have to be drained from your storage tank.

What can I burn in a Lanair Heater?

* Stay away from gear lubes, they do not burn and will cause you more maintenance for ANY brand waste oil heater.
* Hazardous waste is illegal to burn in ANY brand waste oil heater.
* The EPA of the USA does not allow the burning of Brake fluid, and it is illegal to burn in ANY brand waste oil heater.
* There is no UL safety standard for the burning of Used Cooking Oil (vegetable oil) at this time. It should not be burned.
