Lanair Products LLC – Website Update!

On the surface we’ve kept the site as similar to it’s last incarnation as possible, but if you dig deeper, you’d see the back-end itself has had a massive overhaul. We’ve also implemented a News, Faq, and Video Database, so when we get new information its fast and efficient for us to get that new information to you, and you can easily search those databases instead of “hunting” for information!

We’ve also implemented “rapid” contact forms, so if you have any questions you can feel free to ask us directly. If you have a “frequently asked question” that isn’t in the FAQ database, simply use the contact us form and submit the question. After we answer it (if its appropriate) we will add it to our FAQ as well, so the community information continues to grow!

Over the summer we came up with the “Reseller Toolbox” for a couple of our more notable Resellers, we’ve generalized it and extended this “Toolbox” out to anyone who is interested in becoming a Reseller, so the files you need are constantly at your disposal!

For “Potential Customers”, we’ve introduced a Features & Benefits page. We are trying to answer as many questions as we can in ‘one place’ so you are informed. While our on-hand staff is happy to take your inquiries every weekday, many people customers today would rather avoid the phone-call until they are ‘ready to order’ (we still focus on over-the-phone ordering, because even our well informed customers benefit from a point-of-purchase talk with our representatives). We are trying to make this easier on you by providing tools for you to use, one such tool, is our “Return On Investment” page. While it doesn’t feature a ‘true ROI’ calculator, it does provide a tool to help you understand the ‘value’ of your Waste Oil. Some “ROI” sites will mislead you by trying to predict ‘how much you will save’. It’s very hard to predict a true ROI without a thorough look at your company specifically, but what we can ‘honestly’ tell you, is the ‘potential value’ of your waste oil when burned in our heaters (or another brand for that matter; feel free to use our tools even if you are not interested in a Lanair). I know if you want more information on a ‘true’ ROI, we have guys here that can Help you, so feel free to call them!

As for “Existing Customer” tools, you can still grab our Manuals in PDF format as many of you have enjoyed over the last year. We got a lot of positive feedback on this, and had a LOT of customers coming just to get extra copies of the manuals over this winter. So many in fact, that we’ve tried to make it easier by giving you a DIRECT URL to our famously simple parts and service page. Our service manager is proud to introduce www.lanairparts.com. Put in the URL, click on your product, and instantly receive your manual in the convenient Adobe PDF format.

We hope everyone makes use the tools we’ve provided, and understands that our website will continue to grow as people’s needs change. We’ve been successful at keeping our website compatible all the way back to I.E. 6, and have avoided flash (outside of video) to keep our site usable and content rich, even when being viewed from most smart-phones. As time goes on, it gets harder and harder for us to thoroughly test our website in older browsers, so please keep in mind that if you have a hard time viewing anything on our site, it should run perfectly in Firefox, which you can download and install for free ( if you are on IE 6 or lower, we’d highly recommend this upgrade regardless of our site )

Janesville, WI, October 16, 2009 – Lanair Products LLC announced the acquisition of Lenan Corp, a niche manufacturer of waste oil heaters and related equipment in Janesville, WI. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Lenan was founded in 1976 by Les and Nancy Marzahl. The Marzahls were true pioneers in the United States waste oil heater industry, creating and running Lenan (d/b/a Lanair) for 33 years, eventually becoming one of the worlds leading manufacturers of waste oil heaters. Based in Janesville, WI, they have continued to innovate in this industry while marketing and selling direct to their customers. Mr. Les Marzahl, Lenan President and chief executive officer said, “This transaction allows for a transition of our business to a highly qualified operator while maintaining its presence in Janesville. It also allows Nancy and I to pursue our interests outside of the business. We are excited about the transition and look forward to the company growing and prospering in the future under this new leadership.”

Barry Brandt, President and chief executive officer of the newly formed Lanair Products said, “ I am excited about the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the previous owners and look forward to working with the great group of people at Lenan to continue growing the business well into the future. My family and I are equally excited about settling in the Janesville area.”

The business will be operated as Lanair Products LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanair Holdings LLC. Lanair Holdings LLC is a partnership formed to purchase Lenan Corp by Barry Brandt and Aldine Capital Partners, Inc. of Chicago, IL.
